a cheap, made in china, clone of the sharp el-506.

came with batteries (button cells), a flip top plastic case and a small manual for only 99p.

functionally, its actually a very good calculator. this is because it is a copy of a well developed sharp calculator. as you'd expect for the price, the build quality lets it down, the rubber keys are awkward to press and you have to watch to ensure that they have registered, the display is a bit nasty as well.

if you like the layout and functionality, my advice would be to acquire one of the original models in this series like the el-512 or el-545h both well make, very fine models.
